I know its a conspiracy theory. But does it have any real world consequences (i.e. people taking it seriously)? Should we care about it or will it blow over. many thanks and have a great day :)

    Thanks for the response! Qanon seems to be a collection of real and conspiracy issues. Do we know how this movement started?

      I believe it originated from shitposting that got taken seriously from third party observers similarly to the flat earth phenomenon that originated as a debate exercise about defending an untenable argument.
