touched liquid explosive and kept all 10 fingers
Removed by modI was melt-casting ETN for the first time and fucked up real bad. The water bath had cooled to well below the melting point of ETN, but I didn't see anything solid, just a bunch of condensed water on the lid and in the container. I thought maybe it decomposed or something and thoughtlessly poked the puddle with my finger and OOOPS it was liquid ETN.
Maybe I accidentally supercooled it or something because it didn't feel like it was >60C. This experience makes me part of an extremely exclusive club for big dumb idiots. I'm very lucky to have not blown off my hand or face. ETN is a secondary explosive when solid, but while it's melted it's extremely sensitive, more than nitroglycerin.
I didn't know where else to post about it. Be safe in comments, I am using a burner account and TOR.
I normally agree with you on explosives. They're difficult to test clandestinely and there's no recovery from accidental detonation. Arson is way more forgiving for people without a technical background. However, I am designing something that is comparatively safe.
TOR was first designed to browse the clearnet. Onion domains just protect site operators.
"fedposter" posts about how peoples should use Tor and there is absoloutly nothing wrong with it (/s)
Actually I'm not sure I get to say shit. I spent what 2? 3? Years volunteering for the Tor Project
Sounds like it was a fairly cushy 4-year US Navy enlistment
I wish I got paid for it
you going to give us some more juicy details, or just going to keep implying you are doing something very interesting?
