He's challenging and an aquired taste for sure. The first time I saw Lost Highway I thought it was shit. It was almost the same feeling I have the first listen through an Autechre album. Then I ended up watching it again and again. On the 2nd viewing I got it but it wasn't till the 3rd that I liked it. By the time I watched it a 4th time I loved it. Inland Empire and Eraserhead are the only two movies he did that I just didn't like. The disney movie was mid.
