oh yeah, fuck toei for misgendering morley in the after-episode filler of the latest anime ep, at least in the english subs. it wouldn't even make sense from the context of the actual episode, morley is gendered correctly in that. pissed me off, she's too cool for that treatment.

So with Catarina Devon copying Saturn's face, capturing Koby/Garp, and Lafitte monitoring the RA's blockade of Mariegeois it seems to me like Blackbeard has an interest in going there for some purpose, maybe to negotiate for Hachinosu to be recognized as its own kingdom? That guy always has something going on.

edit: Just noticed Nami appears to be in a Lego looking room at the end. That's not Elbaf then, despite the costume change.
my hot take is that our main crew from the sunny (which consists of the first crew members that were gathered, interestingly) will quickly meet Loki, might currently be in a giant child's playhouse. usopp and Loki are going to have to become brave warriors of the sea together.
Look at Shanks, dog. He's not beating the rat allegations. I bet that poison had anti-sun essence in it or something.
Garp's not dead. Sad!
It feels good that Kuma's not dead, but I think he ought to be. Seeing Nika and seeing Bonney emulating Nika after a lifetime of sacrifice seems like the beautiful tragedy that completes his character arc. It's like if I got to see [redacted] after toiling under capitalism and hearing story after story of the horror with so many people crying in rubble under the MIC. What's he got left to do? If he murks someone on Elbaf it would steal the glory from someone else and if he gets murked by a rando it'd cheapen his arc.
Kuma still has to see the world with Bonney, he promised! He's also pretty heavily damaged after Egghead so I could see him getting sidelined with protecting Bonney this arc until they head off on their own.
