    I thought hating landlords was a universally held belief.

    Those landed gentry assbats won't maintain their properties, let alone provide adequate cooling to survive the next heat dome event. Nor will they provide electric vehicle charging until forced to buy by law.

    Fuck em.

      No but you see, according to the big minds at lemmy ca, if you are a landlord on your "starter home" (that's legit the word they used), you cannot be by definition hoarding up housing and making it more difficult to get. You're metaphysically different from other landlords who own dozens of properties.
