I sort of wonder how long the whole "Directionless internet hate mobs" thing can last. One of these days they'll cross someone who has legal clout, and when that happens everyone else who uses the internet is gonna end up footing the bill.

Idk it seems to be doing fine for a couple decades now. The chans targetted Scientologists and leaked celebrities’ nudes, and ultimately nothing really happened. Some guys got arrested but the sites are still kicking.

I wonder if the billionaire fascist crowd needs to fully become comprised of failsons born in the internet age before they go scorched earth. Is it just because they're all crusty old ghouls still?

Yeah, I was kind of assuming the threshold would be if some senator's kid dies as a result of one of these campaigns, but you never really know.

Crazy that logic seems to check out in many conflicts through atrocity propaganda and such.

This needs to be brought back to trump. He’s the one who, metaphorically speaking, yelled ‘fire in the theater’. His fault, his responsibility.

In a better world trump would be shot and the republican party banned for encouraging hates crimes and worst, but this is hell world and the dems will tell you with a straigh face how important is a strong republican party and the need of bipartisanship in politics

One thing Chomsky got right is the GOP is the greatest threat to human existence. In a just world, they would have been stripped of all power and outlawed decades ago.

The GOP is just the particular formation of capitalist-funded reaction that we've wound up with. If it was dissolved tomorrow and its leaders were put to death, the next day there would be a figurative Grand New Party to serve the same purpose because the politicians aren't the principal threat, it's the capitalists buying politicians.

Telling democrats you won’t support Kamala because her party supports the existence and strengthening of the greatest threat to democracy, Ukraine, Taiwan, etc.: the GOP
