It's a rare number of Man's Conquest where the guy is not knife fighting a wild animal on the cover. Also, while they are reclaiming words they might as well reclaim the word "Sex-o-quack". Not as badass, but it's right there on the cover and it would be a shame to let it go to waste.
Stared at it awhile, and I think it's probably an artifact of all those old fashioned ways of carrying and holding guns that changed as body armour and compact assault rifles became the norm.
Plus the mount, I've never seen anyone carry a machine gun with the tripod. I think it looks awkward in a believable way, like if you gave someone 5 seconds to figure out how to run with this thing, this is the best they could do
Yeah, the picture implies it’s been fired recently because he needs to hold the barrel with a rag, so firing it, picking it up to advance a few yards put it down and fire again I think. Otherwise you’d take it off the tripod.
Sex-o-quacks
That sounds awesome, whatever it is. Sign me up.
Cool relevant owl demon based on the Burney Relief, which is likely a representation of either Inanna or Ereshkigal:
ShowI looked up Ereshkigal because the name sounded familiar and apparently her temple was located in a city that was once dedicated to Nurgle; I certainly hope hand sanitizer was big back then.
