The situation between Hezbollah and Israel is rapidly escalating, with massive bombing campaigns on southern Lebanon by Israel predominantly on civilians (as the tunnels in South Lebanon are mostly unreachable to the Zionists, just like in Gaza), while Hezbollah and its allies respond with missile attacks predominantly on Israeli military facilities. Israel is spreading an evacuation order to the residents of southern Lebanese villages while also bombing their routes of escape and civilian infrastructure, similar to a terror tactic used widely in Gaza.
Northern Israel is currently under military censorship to hide their losses, so we get very little information other than what the Resistance provides and what videos and images get through the censors.
I don't know if Israel will dare a ground incursion soon, but it seems fairly likely in the coming days or weeks.

He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.
Simplicius, who publishes on Substack. Like others, his political analysis should be soundly ignored, but his knowledge of weaponry and military strategy is generally quite good.

Your analysis is completely vibes based exceptionalist doomerism that presents Putin as this great magical glue that keeps Russia from collapsing any second. Do you hear yourself? It is no better than the Western propaganda that you refer to, which claim that Putin is personally responsible for every piece of the Russian social and economic fabric, writing every day that surely this time Russia will collapse if only Ukraine gets a billion more $ and drone strike Putin's house. Consider that maybe Russia is more complicated than a constantly collapsing country held together purely by the will of a single autocrat. This is all I'm asking.
I’ve said pretty much all I wanted to say about the topic.
The only thing left I can say is that learning about the post-Soviet Russian history and familiarizing oneself with present day Russian politics and society will truly make you appreciate Putin. Not that he is some great capable leader, but because he is the least worst of them all.
Once you get to this point, suddenly Russian Doomerism makes sense (at least I try to inject material analysis into my comments rather than doing vibes based posting as you have accused me of doing). Why so many Russians are so pessimistic will make a lot of sense once you become familiar with all these aspects of Russian history and society. I am not the one who’s saying it, it’s the Russians themselves who don’t see a future for their country.
The country can no longer be saved. Shock Therapy has destroyed the fabric of the society that it has never recovered. Putin is doing the unenviable job of barely binding the broken society together, but what comes after his passing?
The communist party is run by totally inept people that are more prone to sabotaging their own than to demonstrate their potential to unify the country and bring about positive changes. It will be total chaos and reactionary violence will erupt once the internal strifes can no longer be contained with Putin gone.
