    I love Matt. And I love his posts, but: I really wish the transcripts were clearer. It's less a Matt problem and more a Google (and Chris/saywhatagain) problem. Matt's Wisconsin accent and cursing has these weird spots where it's hard to follow his ranting.

    He also repeats himself a lot "the the the... the democratic party..." which makes clipping things out/pointing at specific times a little hard to catch. Not his fault, that's just a rambling mind problem.

      True. Plus I think that we would all sound bad in a transcript like that. Matt uses a lot less filler (like "uh", "you know", "yeah...", repeating a word until you can think of the next word) than other podcasters because he's so quick, but some of that stuff is impossible to avoid unless you're reading off a script or taking big pauses to think.

        There is also the fact that he doesn't repeat the questions that he sees on twitch. So following along (I'm catching up slowly...) it can be a little hard to understand what he's talking about/answering after the fact because there's no twitch-chat-replay like archives on Twitch has.

        I wish Chris and him would take the time (though given the Virus that might not be "safe" right now) to sit down and "produce" the show in a slightly better way. That's not to say that Matt's "off-the-cuff" streaming is a problem. It's just the production/after-the-fact, show is really weak IMO.

        I'll have to post a certain section later today (gotta go now) with what I mean on following the transcript as I just hit within like the last five minutes of the "Game Theory" episode on the Mega transcript archive what I'm talking about where he sort of goes on a segment and then "clips"/loses that train of thought to go onto another question.

        Ah, yeah:

        00:10:46,620 --> 00:10:50,800 well I mean this is a good time for less

        223 00:10:49,150 --> 00:10:54,250

        • just like nationalize the entire

        224 00:10:50,800 --> 00:10:56,710 energy sector I mean this this is really

        225 00:10:54,250 --> 00:10:58,780 kind of frustrating man like we're in a

        226 00:10:56,710 --> 00:11:00,220 situation where this [ __ ] could all be

        227 00:10:58,780 --> 00:11:03,520 had for pennies on the dollar or we

        228 00:11:00,220 --> 00:11:04,930 could just nationalize it but there's

        229 00:11:03,520 --> 00:11:06,970 nobody in the room and making these

        230 00:11:04,930 --> 00:11:11,740 decisions who's a human being they're

        231 00:11:06,970 --> 00:11:14,920 all lizards they're lizards okay folks

        232 00:11:11,740 --> 00:11:17,710 they're [ __ ] lizard people you only

        233 00:11:14,920 --> 00:11:18,880 be one of those rooms are goblins well

        234 00:11:17,710 --> 00:11:22,810 all they care about is maintaining

        235 00:11:18,880 --> 00:11:27,610 profit a big butt a goblin Bobbitt

        236 00:11:22,810 --> 00:11:29,470 touching goblins kissing goblins the bed

        237 00:11:27,610 --> 00:11:32,130 will got one that's it that's the only

        238 00:11:29,470 --> 00:11:32,130 people in the room

        239 00:11:37,860 --> 00:11:41,390 in Bear Valhalla

        240 00:11:44,240 --> 00:11:52,519 I don't know I'm still them yeah I love

        241 00:11:49,790 --> 00:11:54,019 those guys protesting because like if

        242 00:11:52,519 --> 00:11:56,600 people don't want to go out you can't

        243 00:11:54,019 --> 00:11:58,369 make them you know that's just like

        244 00:11:56,600 --> 00:12:01,429 there's always so much you could do

        245 00:11:58,369 --> 00:12:04,970 against hegemonic media like as much as

        246 00:12:01,429 --> 00:12:07,189 people don't trust the media they still

        247 00:12:04,970 --> 00:12:09,019 believe in general what they get told

        248 00:12:07,189 --> 00:12:12,220 and they think there's a virus out there

        249 00:12:09,019 --> 00:12:12,220 they're not gonna go out and hang out

        He's talking about oil companies here and then jumps to the protests/police brutality protests right after. While this one is easy to follow, you see what I mean by the "cuts" with no question repeating? I really wish Chris and him would take a look at the "replay" on Youtube and go "damn, that's a little hard to follow."
