I know a lot of working-class tech people are comrades. My ire is for the ones with enough wealth and connections and power to peddle cryptocurrency grifts, creep around the office (and demand everyone return to the office to creep on them) and in general live out every fratboy sex pest power fantasy that they were ostensibly previously denied in school. 
The jocks grew up to be fascists. The nerds grew up to be fascists. As usual the only cool kids were the stoners and goths.
Some of them became fascists too by way of the "South Park Republican" pipeline.
Goths stay winning then. Oh also Juggalos, save for the ones that are white supremacists.
