Rachel Dolezal deserves our sympathy. If gender dysphoria can exist on a spectrum, then so can transracial identity. Always interesting when Dolezal's condition is dismissed as a mental health issue while gender dysphoria is itself included in the DSM-5 (only because it's more prevalent and better understood).
