Cold take: Every single death in a prison or a jail, no matter the cause, is first degree murder at the hands of the guards, the warden, or both.
Related, every prison guard in the United States is an irredeemable evil person, and they should be shot en mass and thrown in a pit.
And I do mean every. A death from a heart attack in a prison is still a murder by whoever put the victim in that prison.
