This is one of those "socialists" that wants to keep private healthcare but maintain a public option you can only get in through a series of weird hoops. Or they want more housing and instead of just building public housing they mean they want more private-public partnerships. Or they belive in unions but never having worker control over production because the average person is "too dumb" to decide how to distribute goods. Or think CEO pay is too high but are okay with the idea of billionaires existing.

They want their free healthcare, free university, legal weed, and maybe gay rights if they're feeling extra generous, and then they think true socialism will have been achieved. That type. Yeah.
It is interesting has this has come about. Brain wormed conservatives screaming that all of those things are socialism, a person thinking “huh those things sound good, guess I’m a socialist” and that’s the end of anybody’s analysis.

Funny story: one time I was talking about what kind of socialism/socialist project I thought would be most effective (before reading theory of course) and I said the best way was to make socialism work in one country first. Astute people may recognize that this is Stalin's "Socialism in One Country," but being ignorant at the time I said, "it would be called like, national socialism or something."
