The world would be slightly a better place if we just took off the fay-cade of Tesla making cars. Nothing would even have to change - they'd just produce less waste while making a boomer the richest man by virtue of letting everyone do fancy gambling with options on TSLA stock. All of this suffering just to make a finance mini game.
I feel like the stock market will eventually reach that point before it collapses entirely. They will be trading stocks in companies that do nothing and provide no products or services.
