      The attack frames it as being wrong in the context of Mike Pence's morals. It's not slut shaming, it's saying that Mike Pence is a slut shamer, and yet is hypocritically okay with this.

        Maybe based on the condensed paraphrased headline. What he actually said was:

        "There’s a classic parlor game of trying to find a little bit of daylight between running mates and if people want to play that game we could look into why an evangelical Christian like Mike Pence wants to be on a ticket with a president caught with a porn star "

        To me that's pretty clearly saying that being "caught with a porn star" is bad, and Mike Pence is a hypocrite if he supports that while claiming to be a good Christian.
