That early struggle session was wild. I don't remember the user names, but there were, just about verbatim, "don't care, cheap treats" takes, as well as "if your job is threatened, it isn't a real job" smugposting. Of course, Silicon Valley popularized crude reductionism lingo such as "meat puppets" and "meat computers" got tossed around to make the LLMs seem that much closer (or superior) to living beings.
