Nearly universal. I've had 6 in all die on me over the years, one succumbed to a sudden illness but the rest all either died from complications resulting from tumors, or were covered in them by the time they died of old age
Apparently female rats are almost all breast tissue so they're very susceptible with age
I've heard it's partially due to early fancy rats being bred from laboratory stock, and the lab rats were bred specifically to have shitloads of cancer, but Idk if that's true.
