We've moved past the "lesbians are hot" stage of toxic masculinity and are now on the christian soccer dad's against gays arc for young men.

Lesbians are only hot to them if they can delude themselves into believing they're still sexually available to them

I mean, even if Lara were heterosexual they would still be angry because she is a woman that goes around killing mostly male villains.

If it was actually woke the British woman breaking into ancient grave sites and stealing the cultural heritage of other nations would be the villain

About where I'm at with it, hasn't Britain been caught out and forced to return archaeological 'finds' dozens of times over the past like decade? At this point, I put Lara Croft in the same character bucket that Cybil Bennett, Leon Kennedy(sometimes), and that one horror movie kill cop in RE7 go in: "sucks to suck, but I can't fw y'all"

I'm sorry there is nothing heterosexual about unloading a pair of 9mms on an extinct giant predator while wearing the tiniest hotpants devised by man or god.

As we all know, exploring archaeological ruins is a skill set lesbians are simply incapable of

Lmao it’s that subreddit. It seems to be where a lot of the far-right went after the alt-right crackdown on Reddit that banned a lot of their subs and users.

Apparently not. And yeah you could call it the new KotakuInAction. The front page of it is entirely whining about these grievances.

Toby: "So Larson (Cowboy Goon) is a very ambiguous character, he's sort of quite a nice guy, sort of he's an enemy, but he helps Lara a little bit on the sly—obviously likes her a bit. They have a bit of chemistry going but obviously Lara has no interest really."

"And it was this point where we actually really wanted to connect the player with the experience of they want to move forward, Lara wants to move forward and this guy essentially is standing in the way. We basically created the 'Super Action' and instead of it being really for gameplay, it's really for an emotional connection of the player with this act that is basically Lara stepping too far over the line—over the moral line—and taking down this guy, and feeling bad about it."

I think Toby mostly wanted Lara to remain aromantic because she was based on his own sister, and he left Core Design when they begun sexualizing her (And Eidos treated the people of Core Design like trash). Still weird that in Tomb Raider Underworld, a game that Toby worked on, the camera is fixed on Lara's butt instead of the normal behind her shoulders.

The thing is, the camera really fucking sucks and makes playing the game worse. Sometimes you can't jump right because of it. No idea who thought doing this was a good idea, if horny gamers wanted something, they can already just make Lara wear a swimsuit or whatever and look at it on the main menu.

I think there can be horny scenes in a game, but mainly if it's for humor or for some story reason. Some games really feel like porn and it's bad when you just want to play a game and that shit pops up. I recently said that when I played the weird pseudo-Gacha Metal Slug game (you can't use real money), they made all the characters, except the main ones, with really horny designs that have nothing to do with the Metal Slug art style.

The original sprite characters were cute and attractive in their own way, yes that goes for the male ones too. What the fuck, game devs? Does everything have to be a Konami style thirst bait delivery system?

The pixel art is pretty good and it does look mostly ok (a lot of reused and edited art), but the art that appears when theres dialogue it's fucking weird. (Fio, Iri and that two other girls, Nadia and Leona look normal) They also sexualized the two girls that give you items (I remember that she had a pretty funny role in Metal Slug 3D)

What is worse is that they had less horny designs that they changed to hornier ones. Madoka (Support Npc that gives you items in the original games) before and after. Besides these having nothing to do with the Metal Slug art style, I think theres one that is legit a basically naked catgirl.

Earth Defense Force - a B-Movie in game form - has a big problem with the Wing Divers. Their civilian outfit is great, a nice practical flightsuit. Then... their combat outfit is hotpants, and their future-warfare outfit is vertical hotpants. I can accept that it represents a great leap in cyberpunk clothing technology, but...

Anyway, to get back on track, the Ranger's biggest problem is that when he sprints the camera zooms right in on his butt and you can't see anything else.
