Yes. Dunking on people is an ingroup strategy, that talks to the already converted, particularly if it's buried in a bunch of signifiers that only the initiated understand. We need an outgroup strategy, but that's a lot harder to develop.
I sometimes wonder if a "John Oliver goes deeper" thing might work, on YouTube. A channel that takes his big piece of the week, and then explains how it fits into Marxist theory. This seems easier than most of our strategies, since Oliver is already popular, and a lot of his pieces are 80% of the way there.
