Fuckin' go figure, right? When i started watching I was like "I remember kind of liking the first few episodes or so, I'll enjoy revisiting that," and now I'm 130 episodes in still going.

My wife and I stalled out on a rewatch recently and during one of the movies we played a drinking game and drank any time Inuyasha shouted Kagome's name.

    Dangerous game

I remember it vaguely from when I was a kid. Given that ranma 1/2 was one of the series responsible for transing my gender and I have a doggie enby partner now, maybe I should rewatch it.

More like I'll put it on at night when I'm high as shit playing a bideo gaym as background noise cause there's just a fuckton of it.

the ranma 1/2 manga made me so happy and confused as a heavily repressing teenager. I just wanted Ranma to live out his happy lesbian life and couldn't understand why he wouldn't just commit to being a woman all the time.

The trouble with anime as background noise during bideo gaym is that I don't actually understand japanese so I end up leaving rimworld paused for hours while I watch

Fair, tbh I wouldn't recommend subbed anime as background stuff. I'm not gonna say the ranma 1/2 dub is good, cause it's not. But I grew up with it so it works as background noise for me.

Yeah, Rumiko Takahashi is good at writing stories. The longest anime I've watched in full was Maison Ikkoku (1986-1988, 96 episodes). Some of the fillers were outright bad, but it was still one of the best romance stories in anime - it helps that Yuusaku Godai is very relatable except for a handful of OOC moments
