worse than twitter because at least twitter is funny sometimes

reddit has birthed the redditor, the worst type of human

an ouroboros composed of Zuckerberg and Spez, each consuming the other's legs with a fork, knife, and napkin

Facebook groups are better than any existing standing subreddit. A chapo equivalent facebook group never would've gotten banned.

Reddit sucks but there are nice subs. Twitter is worse, it's fine tuned to turn perfectly servicable people into drama generators.

to the contrary, using reddit is okay for horny stuff since it fills the void that was made by the death of tumblr

reddit always struck me as especially bad for that because it's reddit, and nothing makes me less sexually aroused than reddit or redditors.

I used to go to reddit meetups a couple years ago. I remember liking them at the time but I was also a lib back then. I wonder if I'd find them insufferable now.

I do radicalization in the MLS subreddit. I know a few other chapos are there, and the sub in general has gotten more critical of American ideology over the last couple of years.

Yeah. A League is a little below, but similar level of parity and entertainment. I watched a ton of A League this winter into the start of COVID in the US, and really enjoyed it.

Arbitrarily picked Brisbane Roar as my team.

The amateurboxing sub was OK a while back. Haven't been there in a pretty long time though, so it might suck now, but people were generally kind and supportive

Yeah, it is. My wife is a former National champion and professional trainer, so I'm acutely aware of how good I'm not. It sucks when people don't understand how much work and technique goes into to something ng like that. What makes it worse is all the "fitness boxing" that people do in gyms these days. People come into her class thinking they can box but don't even know how to stand. It can be funny to see their demeanour change as they realise they've been punching at bags for years but have no idea how to box.

The problem is the redditor actually leaves his house and you know 5 seconds into an interaction who is one. At least 4channers have the decency to leave me alone offline
