I do some recreational gardening, just gave my summer grow the chop a week ago so once it cures I should be set for awhile, got a pretty good yield so I'm gonna have plenty to give to my comrades too

They are! Unfortunately capitalism has ruined a lot of the cool ones. Americans will pay big money for endangered plants from other countries. So there's a lot of poaching and a many of them going extinct in the wild where they are endemic. Home grown ones are often ridiculously expensive. It fucking sucks.

These would be seeds from the ones we grew over the summer. It's gonna be my first time since moving away from home for college of planting the seeds I harvested, and my first time growing hot peppers from seeds instead of buying plants.
Plants are actually so cool in that you don't need to buy em technically tbh. They grow from seeds! They grow from cuttings! Sometimes they'll even grow from leaves. Based plants.

I missed the (not so super) bloom last year. I got to see it the year before and created a mini bloom in the limited space I have. I'm not missing it this year, no fucking way. Fuck the election, I want to see poppies on the hillside again.
It's starting to nibble at me. I ended up getting a snake plant and it's really chill. Shame the growing season is kind of behind us now.
