That's a really gross (and deliberate) misinterpretation of Islam, holy fuck. Muslims are allowed to lie and wear disguises regarding being Muslim if it's to protect themselves. Like if the SS barges into your home and asks if you're Muslim, you won't go to hell if you denounce Islam and Mohammed to prevent yourself from being taken to a concentration camp.
Huh, I didn't know that. In Catholicism at least we're taught the opposite, with Peter denying being a follower of Jesus out of fear of crucifixion being an example of a moment of mortal weakness. I think that this particular instance of islamophobia might be a result of that difference?
I think it's just a redressing of the Protocols, which says similar things [to the islamophobic distortion] about Jews being entitled to deceive goys, etc.
