I've just recently gotten into photography, and I've purchased a Canon Rebel T1i. Well, when i went to buy it, the tax made it go over my budget, by two dollars and fifteen cents. I called up my parents and asked for 2 dollars. My mom then blew her fucking lid on me about how asking for money is taking advantage of her and she didn't agree to pay me and how i should just fucking save more next time- We're not poor, either. Anyone else deal with something like this before?

admins should honestly make sure the whole site scrubs uploaded image metadata

I think the admins said that the site does that, but always best to make sure.

Last time I read the code for the image microservice, the Metadata is indeed scrubbed. So unless anyone changed it after, there is no Metadata leak.

A Canon T1i lacks a GPS module, so the worst thing that could get leaked is the anti-theft identification number or S/N, too. Which isn't good, but not as bad as, say, GPS data.

That being said, everyone should know how to and form a habit of scrubbing metadata. So assume we're CIA!
