And there is my justification to not rake up any of the leaves at my place besides just pissing off which is always a valid reason in and of itself

They aren't overwintering on my driveway (also no fireflies in my part of the country). That's why I use an electric plug-in mulcher to suck up all the dead leaves and put them on my beds.
