I had coffee with a guy yesterday for potential help with employment in a programming position for a non-profit org and he dropped the "I'm as left as the come" line. Instead of rolling my eyes u was like ok how left are you, thinking he'd say liberal Dem or some shit. He replied with "anarcho-syndicalist." Showed him my AnCom button on my hat and we ended up talking theory for like an hour after discussing programming stuff. It was really a cool experience and in the Bible Belt nonetheless. He recommended Thomas Picketty to me and I said I would send him the Where's the Winter Palace blog that was posted on Grad a while back. The whole ass thing was based lol.

The Communist Party is the best thing that ever happened to the people of China, just look at any metric for quality of life, hell look at life expectancy. They are constantly improving the lives of their people year over year, and they’ve done it without bombing or invading any other countries since 1979, also you clearly don’t have any clue what happened in Tiananmen.
Compare that to the U.S. founded on genocide and slavery and which has done nothing to benefit its own people (apart from the 1% ruling class) in decades while also violently raping and pillaging the rest of the world via invasion, bombing, coups, sanctions, blockades, embargoes, death squads, and mass murder campaigns all to enrich that 1% ruling class and dominate global geopolitics.
China has clearly a better and more legitimate government, and in the face of growing attacks against them by America going “I hate them both equally” is morally abhorrent and functionally identical to supporting the US.
