I don't think he plays the tabletop or builds+paints any minis, he's seen some memes, read a couple wiki pages, maybe played some of the games. He's mainly interested in the "wow cool epic fascist space men sure do shoot good! Kill the witch, burn the heretic, purge the xenos!" aspect of 40k. It's a useful way to express fascist ideals while using irony/satire as a shield.
