The nursing home segment is far from the scariest bit, but different strokes I guess.

Also who thought dead space was scary? its a haunted house with monsters popping up every 30 seconds ad nauseum.

horror fans will be like "who thought [one of the most acclaimed horror games of all time] was scary? literally didn't even flinch"

Not being scared by horror games is kinda sad tbh cos that's what makes them fun. Kid me was scared of all of them I remember the constant tension I'd feel playing dead space or silent hill. Don't really get that anymore kitty-birthday-sad

Peaks for me in horror recently were resi 2 remake and resi 8 baby section and the entirety of darkwood

Oh Im definitely still scared by horror games. Parts of AW2 scared the shit out of me. I just started playing Amnesia: The Bunker and I have to turn it off all the time. Just started Soma as well and its doing the same! Dead Space just gets so predictable about halfway through and just becomes hallways with monsters that you're going to dice up with overpowered gear.

Dead space do be shoot enemy then 180 to shoot behind enemy. There's always a behind enemy. Still need to play the bunker but even thinking about it makes me feel stressed lol

I got stuck at one of the chase scenes in Soma. A sideways submarine maze with physics objects blocking my path was a little too much for me to figure out.
