They’re people who one way or another came to the understandIng that the hierarchical divide in capitalism is between workers and owners of capital, but they’re still techbros at heart, meaning 1) they’re still indoctrinated by the bootstraps propaganda and 2) they want to be able to work from the comfort of their gaming rigs. So instead of putting their efforts towards organizing with other proletariat, or going for a coding job at one of the high paying SV companies like the other techbros (because working for someone else is beneath them, remember that they understand that workers are exploited), they take the most low effort route in an attempt at becoming a member of the bourgeoisie: setting up a website to sell shit they bought in bulk from Alibaba.
