put all of your election posting here so it doesn't bother anyone else!

from @CoolerOpposide@hexbear.net:

For Agitprop purposes, I’m asking comrades to help aggregate any and all effortpost responses, critiques, or general thoughts that you have seen or written pertaining to yesterday’s U.S. election that you think have standalone value for discussion either online or IRL.

I made a post for that purpose here, and ideally it can be used not only for general discussion, but as a reference for well thought out responses in discussions about the election to save all of us some brainpower.

No shitposts please, as we’d like to highlight some comrades’ actual effort in constructing responses or analysis, but humor is 100% welcome to help make your point!

Hot take: the accelarationist will win. The accelarationist candidate is kamala. Things will keep getting worse, the Democrats won't get anything done, and this will take fascism into overdrive in the US.

Anyway if trump does end up winning it will be extremely funny.

2024: the year of two accelerationist candidates (also the same for every election since 1992, except the one Bob Dole ran in)

Bob Dole was so fucking boring and forgettable that he counts an accelerationist candidate bc he spoiled the election and gave the Nader presidency to Bush.

vote is definitely the more accelerationist option at least according to liberal theory which suggests that states in relative decline should turn inward, which explains the rise of Trump isolationism. Consequently, her administration would only serve to continue sharpening contradictions at best, and doing Trump policies at worst.

Maybe i-voted vote isn't actually such a bad idea after all...
