What?! Yours was obviously a joking response. Probably should have been a little more careful with someone who raised this type of complaint in the first place, but we only encourage society’s over-sensitivity by bending over backwards over insignificant things.
Agreed with @mable on the point that this is not cancel culture. This is someone being dropped by their sponsor because the sponsor is uncomfortable with the impact on the brand. It’s a one-and-done event.
