Today, 107 years ago, the October Revolution took place
October
well technically it's november now they had a different calender
Another shot from the same photo shoot: https://www.alamy.com/lenin-trotsky-celebrate-image7116797.html?imageid=F8C2D547-A8D0-4CA5-9BD8-5F11717F0277&p=181734&pn=1&searchId=9135f9ac320120f3da6df146b8245ed9&searchtype=0

I like how one of the image tags incorrectly labels the other guy as Trotsky
That does look a lot like Trotsky
Edit: This prompted me to read a little about Kamenev, who I was vaguely familiar with from reading about the Purges as a sort of wrecker Ice Climbers pair with Zinoviev, but not even enough to recognize him in that picture though his visage is quite obvious. The Wikipedia page is pretty much exactly as dire as one would expect (including the amazing claim that the "show trials" were the product of "months of rehearsal," along with more grim and uncontestable things like several members of his family being executed). On the lighter side:
Before leaving Siberia [having been sent into exile by the Tsarist government], Kamenev proposed sending a telegram thanking the Tsar's brother Mikhail for refusing the throne. He was so embarrassed later by his action that he denied ever having sent it.

Huh, so it was a legit pic after all. Maybe my AI image sense is overtuned.
If your revolution doesn't have some serious hot babes, I'm not coming amorite broskis?
this is a real image, ive seen it many times long before ai proliferated
That's the vibe I get too. Admittedly I'm not super familiar with the Cyrillic alphabet but the text on the banner in the top left is pinging my AI radar.
If it's AI how is it on the front cover of a book published in 2007?
