It's the core of the difference between libs and people who aren't incredulous dumbasses. You can list half a dozen terrible things that dems are doing and they'll link you to a press relief from the dem saying they support freedom and liberty and that's literally go enough for them.
Their entire worldview is that words speak louder than actions.
it's because they only follow politics on a very surface level, they only read headlines and see what their friends are posting on social media snippets.
In this type of understanding there's no follow-up to see what actions were done to follow promises. There's no long term memory. There's only day-to-day outrage about incendiary statements.
