EM POC ONLY!!!

This is home for me.

I love all of my comrades on c/em_poc, but I wanna especially give a huge shoutout to @sweet_pecan@hexbear.net for doing a lot to help me keep my composure. I don't know if they quite realize how much I appreciate them!

Each and every single one of you makes me feel less alone through these struggles, though.

I hope all of you are well! sankara-bass

Started a job in a plant nursery today and everyone speaks and only speaks spanish, my own spanish pretty good I think but it's only gonna get better by leaps and bounds as I talk en espanol to people other than my parents. On the real tho the job is pretty good, mostly working with older women and they are kind to me. Whenever I get the chance to do some heavy lifting for them I will, they been teaching me how to work as effectively as possible so I don't get too tired.

Both are good it's just I've grown complacent speaking spanish to only parents, they get me but in a job you gotta learn good in order to work properly with others, also I gotta learn to work good with other and I like to think I am. If I ever advance it'll be 100% be because all of the women who took the time time help me there and I'll never forget

That's awesome . I would love an opportunity to practice Spanish. All of the classroom learning I did actually helped a lot after I went to Mexico and got immersed but it sure is easy to lose all that progress very quickly

Sort of a prerequisite at the job I'm at, never realized how much I don't know until now but I'm getting there. Communicating directly with people is the best way to polish and master I feel
