Okay but I watched Die Hard for the first time last year, on Christmas, and how the fuck are there people who think Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie?

I always assumed it was like, vaguely Christmas time in the movie. No the whole thing happens at a Christmas party, he wears a Santa hat, Christmas is a very core part of the movie. Saying Die Hard isn’t a Christmas movie is like saying Love Actually isn’t a Christmas movie.

Very very few people think Die Hard isn't a Christmas movie; far far too many people think it an interesting observation to point out that it is

Every year my children and I watch traditional Christmas movies such as A Christmas Story and Die Hard. I even made a Bruce Willis in the ducting holding a lighter ornament.

He's a man consumed by his job who, during Christmas, proves that he loves his family and reunites with them. Sure, he does it violently, but Home Alone does too and that's definitely a Christmas movie.

I've never seen it, does it start with him having a bad relationship with his wife and kid, but then he saves them and they come together as a family and celebrate Christmas together? cuz then that is kind of like a lot of Christmas movies. if not then no.
