How big are they? Because I just can't imagine grasshoppers have any meat on them.

Seasoning and technique are like 99% of making food taste good

And any place that serves chapulines understands that concept very well

I had so many different bugs from street food stalls in Thailand, most of them were honestly pretty good, and if I could get my hands on them now I would absolutely crush a bag of bamboo worms

Fried silkworm pupae is really popular in China, it tastes kind of like eggs. The hardest part is that they fry it whole so it's visibly bug shaped, if they mashed them up and made bread out of it or something I think I would find that more palatable.

when I was a kid, watched a documentary on the Amazon, when they showed the indigenous roasting a tarantula, the commentary stated they tastes like prawns.

i do like 90% of the time, but thats just because of convenience and price (ptsd fucks your head up and makes you not wanna cook, vegan nutritional shakes are well priced). if they ever make a vegan way to eat literally everything else i would do that.

In South Africa we have mopane worms, but they're not nice dry, it needs to be in a sauce.

Chicken feet are also nice. Walkie talkies lol. But they don't sell them at the shops in the suburbs

Chicken and pigs feet are surprisingly nice for what initially, to me, sounded pretty gross.

I'm allergic to the wet ones, and probably the dry ones too bu I haven't tried out of fear. I don't need to choke out, I don't carry an epi-pen(my reactions have never needed one in the past, but I've been told they can spontaneously get worse when I told someone thatbi tasted shrimp from time to time).
