I know Japanese media loves using the six-pointed star as THE symbol for magic and the occult but I think in the West everyone just tends to go with the five-pointed pentagram for obvious reasons

      He looks pretty cool and I wouldn't be surprised if the design isn't based on some kind of specific creature from occult literature, it's just that the hexagram has slightly different connotations to a Westerner
