    These are the sort of people who never leave r/worldnews or r/politics, so this is their first exposure to others online actually expressing discontent with societal structure as a whole

      Not American, but I feel as if contempt to these kinds of individuals is pretty universal in the American political spectrum. Sure you have the bootlickers. But a lot of people got screwed over denied claims from assholes like this one.

        Nobody likes the health insurance companies. Like at best you find a story about how they had outstanding insurance through their job or their spouse or something. Nobody looks at an industry of middle men and thinks it's cool and good that they parasitically latched onto the conduit between the doctor and the patient. It's like asking people to feel good about credit card processing fees.
