I have tried a few of the lemmy apps and most can't login due to some form of API/connection error, connect for lemmy I did get to login with but I can't do anything like vote on a post or post a comment or subscribe to a community (things which I assume use the API)
Are there any apps that do work? is the API disabled on hexbear for some reason?

Even if u dont see ads , the privacy policy states that the app tracks you and sends data to google n all , I dont want a spying app in fediverse too ! Kinda beats the purpose !
Right I agree, it's not a good app, but it has the best feature set for now, just waiting on something to replace it
I have hexbear logged in with liftoff and connect , both of them work fine!!
Mlem and Memmy worked on iOS last time I checked. A while back they didn't work but the Hexbear admins did an update a bit ago that made it work.
All the apps (at least the iOS ones) kinda suck right now since they're so early in development, but they work for basic browsing. Not as nice as the mobile webpage, but probably better power usage at least.

This is a web app so you can just install it to your home screen. Works really well for me.
Jerboa was working until recently, but seems to have a similar problem currently
