Honestly, the very limited offline mode worked out fine for me as I didn't know lol
offline mode is basically just the vanilla Hitman story mode, I also played through most of the game in offline mode before I got peacock working. It's just incredible to me that 1/2 of the single-player game is locked behind a always-online wall.
