Hey, I heard about this neat spot through a post on bluesky, and I always wanted to give a Lemmy instance a shot, so here I am!
I go by Kandy! I'm a transfem enby who is super into tech, gaming, social media happenings and comedy. I also have a hobby in community management, gamedev and video editing, with a higher focus on the first two.
I've been known to make some killer communities and I really enjoy learning more about moderation and finding better ways to maintain cool places to chill in. Maybe I can learn way more about that here!
I'm also just a giant yapper, mostly through bluesky, which you can poke me at, same handle and all.

The moderation on this site is by far the best I’ve ever seen, especially considering the amount of shit they’ve had to deal with over the years. So you’re not going to be disappointed if you want to learn more about running a positive, healthy community.
