What I don't understand is why the German economy still hinges on heavy industry. That's so 20th century. Shouldn't it be all useless IT startups and financial services by now?
Germans are very tech averse and because of the insane bureaucracy startup culture is nowhere near as big as in other countries.
I wonder if feddit Germans noticed or they are still explaining to everyone how great it is.
