i've been avoiding this season because it's ending is making me irrationally emotional; but i had to watch it due to the other posts showing the character development that i had been wishing for, for the last 30ish years.
it took me 2 days to get past the opening credits when i first saw v'ger because i couldn't stop crying each time i tried. lol
watching them pay such homage to the tos with both v'gyer and apollo's hand is doing something to me that makes me hopeful for humanity's future since people who call themselves trekkies vote for people like trump; if the core material can stay true to its original form, then maybe there's a chance for trekkies realize roddenberry's goals.
