Why misgender someone when you can simply not. They won't get it and it's not a good approach. Just remember, you're arguing for the lurkers, not to make the chuds see the light.

Terfs are too far gone for twitter comments to change their minds but the people reading might not be. I'd avoid doing it. It's not the exact same, but I certainly wouldn't be calling homophobes by their slurs for us since that just legitimizes their hateful rhetoric. Better to just tell them to post hog, log off, harass them in other threads, or sick some kpop stans on them.

tell them to post hog. there's no gendering involved but the truly galaxy-brained among them will decide that you've called them trans, which is insulting only to them and other transphobes.

What if instead of misgendering it was mistergendering and it was just for the fellas?

No. It's never cool to misgender people.

We as communists cannot build a better world by perpetuating the injustices we have experienced upon our enemies. We must do better.

Acknowledging someone's gender is not a matter of respect, it is a recognition of a basic fact about them. We don't misgender Hitler just to "insult" him as much as possible.
