This exact thing is why so many people voted for Trump back in 2016. I knew several people who were disgruntled with the system and angry about Obama and how the establishment works and they JUMPED for Trump. They thought he really was an anti-establishment candidate and they used to argue with me that even if he is a disaster "it's worth it cause it will be like throwing a grenade into the window of the establishment and will shake things up!"

Seeing Biden want to push for bipartisanship and work with Republicans just reminds me of all those conversations I had with people back in 2016 who hated Hillary and would go on about how much they were pissed at the system and establishment. Libs are always whining about populism and how they wish it would just go away or the fantasy that "Republicans will go back to normal after Trump" but this kind of government is what made people move to Trump in the first place, and I don't know WTF they expect in the next 4 years to happen of Biden fucking everything up. The next fascist figure we get is going to be a hell lot smarter than Trump.
