This the real difference between being a communist and being a liberal. As a communist you face a hell on Earth head on. You stare it down, you understand what is required of you, you respond accordingly. When you're a liberal, you pretend it's not there, and then hope someone stronger than you will eventually deal with it. Being a communist is about resolving otherwise. That the meaning of real courage. It's what separates communists who truly believe in the potential of individuals through collective action from utopian morons who fetishize individualism.
