Actually, one of the gamers biggest complaints is that none of them are hot. They're complaining about the women, obviously. I've never seen anyone complain about the men. As far as I can tell they're mad that none of them have all three of: Light skin, European facial features, svelte figure. Each of the 3 women have 2.
Edit: I was watching a video of one of the people doing lots of preview stuff for DAV and when he got to the Veiljumper camp in arlathan he saw the Vendor and said, "seeeeeee bioware does know how to make attractive feeeemale characters!"
