Being called an "anglo devil" doesn't affect you. It rolls off you and every other white person like water, because it has no historical or cultural power built up by oppression. Racism hurts because racism immediately evokes the entire history of oppression a people has suffered. When I call you a cracker or a mayo it doesn't do anything, because you have no history of that oppression.
