It's like that episode of Black Mirror where they invent the technology that can perfectly capture your entire consciousness AND run it flawlessly on a machine (even with free will intact, more or less) and they just use it to pre-cook breakfast (it's fuckin' toast), pre-heat coffee (it's instant) and give the weather forecast (it's British) so you wake up to disappointment every day, but it's personalised disappointment.
