I lived in another state for a while where you’re not allowed to smile for your driver’s license photo… the software did analysis of your face and wouldn’t allow a photo to be taken unless you had the most blank, criminal expression for it. Took forever to get a photo if you’re an innately happy person.
So the fact that Jenna Ellis is smiling in her criminal mugshot just blows my mind. They need to get that DMV software.
Isn't everyone innocent when they take those photos? Photos taken by impotent jackasses in costumes. I can't help but laugh at their dumbasses. 🏴🏴🏴🖕🏿🖕🏿🖕🏿
Yes innocent until proven guilty, I think the context for this is once one is found guilty. Hypothetically, if someone is smiling in their mugshot after having just been arrested with a bloody knife in their hand, when sentencing comes they could push for a longer sentence due to a lack of remorse. But I’m not a lawyer, just speculating.

No no, it's because they're actually just like first century Christians being martyred in the coliseum
Why not?
apparently DAs use it as evidence against you in court (lack of remorse) -- but that might be apocryphal.

not as far as the DAs office/pigs are concerned.
The pigs don’t care if you did it or not, they want to put you away and pad their resume by doing so.
